Literacy

Opening doors through
the written word

Many underprivileged children lack access to basic reading materials, constraining their potential. We’re changing that, one book at a time.

A crisis of access

In many communities across Ghana, children grow up without access to books, reading materials, or educational resources. This deprivation significantly constrains their literacy development.

Without the ability to read, these children face limited opportunities in education, employment, and personal growth. The cycle of poverty perpetuates itself through generations.

The Buckle Foundation addresses this gap head-on, creating equitable educational opportunities and fostering long-term personal and social development.
